Liz Beavis began her career with a PhD in Coal Gasification at CSIRO, driven by the belief that clean coal could address future climate and energy challenges. Over a decade in the thermal power industry, she held site-based and corporate operational roles, managing carbon emissions, optimizing energy efficiency, and overseeing asset management. Recognizing the evolving energy landscape, Liz transitioned into renewable energy, taking on her first role in the sector as a wind farm site manager, where she applied her expertise to sustainable energy solutions.
